A 2,400 square foot apartment reworked around custom joinery rather than added partitions. Storage, seating and display are built into the wall depth, freeing the living-to-dining spine to run uninterrupted and making a mid-sized flat read considerably larger. Warmth comes from timber and textile against a restrained neutral shell, so the palette stays calm while the detailing carries the interest.
